 Nozzles are used to atomize the fuel with precision and to distribute it in the combustion chamber so that optimal combustion can occur. At the same time, the nozzle reliably seals off the fuel system from the combustion chamber.  

The in-line injector pumps use an element for each engine cylinder. The elements are composed of a cylinder and piston. The piston completely seals inside the cylinder, due to its high machining precision, without the necessity of using additional devices, such as trims and rings. In order to obtain such precision, the cylinder and piston mechanical tolerances are around 0.2 µm (micron). 

The unit injector system is an electronically controlled system developed by Bosch for diesel direct injection. It is suitable for cars and light commercial vehicles with up to 5 l engine capacity and 312 hp engine power, the first installation in series production cars was 1998.

Small, high-speed diesel engines require an injection system with high performance, rapid injection sequences, low weight and a small installation volume. Distributor injection pumps meet these requirements. They consist of a small, compact assembly containing the supply pump, high-pressure pump, and regulation device.

Head & Rotor main function is to meter and deliver the metered fuel. Head Rotor are available in bore sizes of 9 mm to 12 mm. 

The delivery valve closes the fuel line quickly at the end of fuel injection in order to keep the residual pressure inside the injection pipe. At the same time, the fuel is drawn back in allowing the injection nozzle to snap shut, thus preventing fuel dribble.
